My Travel Story
Travel has always been a passion of mine. I started with Suntours Holidays, a travel wholesale company and then a few years later started as a travel consultant.
With over 40 years in the business, I have had the opportunity to travel to many destinations. My favorite sun destination is Jamaica, and then anywhere I can dip my toes in the turquoise Caribbean and I am happy! The best all inclusive for family travel is Beaches Turks and Caicos. This resort is amazing! I have travelled in Italy from Rome to Siena, Lucca in the Tuscany region, Venice and on to the 5 coastal towns of Cinque Terre. I have been on a Uniworld river cruise of Venice and the Po River, Budapest to Vienna with Scenic River cruises. Love the city of Budapest! I have spent 2 weeks in Croatia from Dubrovnik to Split and 3 islands in between. In Greece I went island hopping from Athens, Santorini, Ios, Mykonos and Syros. In Spain I have been to Madrid and the fabulous city of Barcelona! I stayed in the Algarve in Portugal, rented a car, and drove the coast to the most western part of Europe, Cabo da Roca where I watched the most incredible sunset I have ever experienced! My roots are England and Ireland and I love those countries! A brief visit to New Zealand included Auckland and Rotorua hot springs. In Australia, I have been to the beautiful city of Sydney and then up the gold coast to Cairns, where I did a platform Helmut dive and snorkeled on the Great Barrier Reef!
I was also lucky enough to go on a “Just You” trip to South Africa, for the Solo traveller. Amazing trip with game drives through Krueger Park, Soweto, Johannesburg, the beautiful city of Capetown, Boulder Bay to see the African Penquins and so much more. I would love to help Solo Travellers find their bucket list trip. Travel Solo but never alone.
For adventure I have zip lined through a tropical rain forest and climbed Dunn’s River falls in Jamaica and went para-sailing in Hawaii. I had the pleasure of going on a G Adventures National Geographic Journey, of Northern Thailand October 2017. It was an amazing adventure filled with cultural experiences, Thai cooking class, ultimate zip line, spent time at an orphanage supported by Planeterra a non-profit department of G Adventures.
My bucket list includes a China, Vietnam and Cambodia, Peru, Morocco, and a lot more of Europe!
What I love best about my job is making my clients dreams a reality and checking off destinations on your bucket list! I would love to help you plan that family vacation to the sun, explore different countries in the world, learning about the culture and history of the destination and add a bit of adventure.
