My Travel Story
I have always loved to travel. I believe that by travelling you open your eyes to why the world works the way it does...or doesn't! My heart sings when, by helping my clients their dreams become reality. To see their faces and hear their stories when they come back to the office makes me feel as if I have taken the trip with them.
I have many wonderful travel memories, but I think that my greatest memory is when I saw elephants in the wild for the very first time. It was dusk and our first day on safari. We were in our truck and we had just seen a leopard in the distance, something that our guide told us was rare. Our senses were tingling. In the distance we could hear squealing. As we drove towards the sounds, our guide turned on his headlights and there in front of us was a watering hole. On the other side of hole was a bank on which two larger elephants were standing. At the bottom of the bank were two much smaller elephants pointing their trunks towards their aunts. The aunts grabbed their trunks and pulled them up the bank, only to have the little ones turn around and slide down the bank into the muddy water squealing! It was like watching two small children playing in a mud puddle and it was hard not to have tears of total joy.
