My Travel Story
Travel has been my passion for a very long time. It began when travelling on family vacations as a child throughout Canada and United States and continued when I was a high school student and visited Great Britain, followed by my experience as a Rotary Exchange Student in Germany.
My 35+ years in the industry has provided me with so many amazing travel experiences. I call them “WOW” memories! I don’t have a favorite destination as it’s the uniqueness of the destination, my travelling companions and the whole travel experience that I love.
The passion I have for travel is what I aspire to achieve for my clients to fulfil their dream vacation. Part of my passion is finding the right experience to create vacation memories that are lasting. This is very rewarding as a Travel Professional.
Some of my greatest travel memories include walking in the footsteps of the Pharaohs in Egypt and visiting the Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. My highlight is the majestic and very impressive Abu Simbel. The temples are the pinnacle of engineering and craftsmanship accomplished thousands of years ago. I was amazed at its grandeur on the banks of the Lake Nasser, and the phenomenal alignment of the sun illuminating the statues within the temple only twice a year and then leaving them in darkness to preserve the contents inside. I watched the sunset (my favorite time of the day) glowing over the temples and then came total darkness with the sky twinkling above to say “this has been a fantastic day”. This was a "WOW" moment!
